ALBERTO BURRI. CELLOTEX: THE STRATEGY OF THE MATTER

SINCE MARCH 13, 2010 AT THE GALLERIA MODENARTE BURRI’S ARTWORKS ON DISPLAY

 

It is a solo exhibition dedicated to the master of “Informale” Alberto Burri the show scheduled by the Galleria MOdenArte from March 13 to May 1, 2010.

More than thirty artworks that enclose the entire artistic research done by Burri on the quality and form of matter are exhibited at the showroom of Modena, 26 Toscanini street.

The exhibition is curated by the art critic Gianluca Ranzi that, in the essay published in the catalog of the exhibition, points out that the artist, now seventy, leads his art to the extreme limit of life.

For the occasion, was published a catalog of the exhibition, in Italian and English, composed by 96 pages in which there are contained representations of the artworks, the critical text of Ranzi, the biography of the artist and a selection of major exhibitions, both solo and group, to which he attended.

The catalog, edited by Carlo Cambi Editore, is on sale at the Galleria MOdenArte and in the best book shops of art.
